Greetings Geer Park Family!
I am writing you to introduce myself as the new enrichment teacher at your school. My name is Layal Mallah and I am so excited to be working with our staff, students, and parents in order to ensure the best possible learning environment for our young learners. As an overall educator, my goal is to enable students to use higher order thinking by creating an environment that encourages questions, invites creative thinking, and allows students to link concepts together. Throughout the course of enrichment, students will be able to expand their critical thinking skills through the use of technology. Students will have weekly live zoom sessions with me as well as recorded lessons on Schoology. Every week I will post an announcement on Schoology about the day and time for live lessons and recorded lessons. Please feel free to contact me if need be for any questions or concerns.
